10 ounces melting chocolate wafers
2 in rice krispie treats, dipped chocolate
2 chocolate dipped strawberries
Edible gold glitter
Silicone Heart mold
Small paint brush
If you are making a multi-colored heart then you will need separate bowls for each color of chocolate. Melt each color in the microwave in increments of 1 minute up to about 3-4 minutes MAX. Stir until smooth and glossy.
Pour the chocolate into the mold making sure to tilt it around to get the chocolate all the way out the edges. Pour the remaining chocolate back into the bowls. Let the heart cool in fridge for about 5 minutes.
Add another layer of chocolate and place the mold back into the fridge again for 5 minutes.
Carefully check to make sure the chocolate has hardened then remove the mold.
Decorate the outside of the heart with the gold glitter and any other cute candies you have.
Place your marshmallow treats, strawberries and any other candies or chocolates you want on a plate or board. Cover with the chocolate heart.
Serve with a wooden mallet for ultimate smashing fun!
