Ingredients

1 can (15 ounce) chickpeas,

rinsed and drained

cup 3⁄4 chopped roasted red peppers

cup 3⁄4 tahini paste

1 clove garlic

3 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons cold water

1 teaspoon black truffle salt

cup 1⁄3 olive oil

Sea salt to taste

Basil leaf, for garnish

Directions

Step 1

In a food processor, place the chickpeas, red peppers, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, cold water, and black truffle salt; blend.

Step 2

While blending, drizzle in the olive oil and blend until smooth.

Step 3

Spoon the hummus into a low-profile bowl, make a hummus swirl and top with the sea salt.

Step 4

Garnish with the basil leaf

Step 5

Serve with warm pita bread or crackers, fresh crisp veggies, or your favorite crackers
