Creamy delicious burrata is the star of this yummy Italian-inspired sandwich! I had one pack of prosciutto left over from a recent grazing table so I figured I could break my no-pork diet for one itsy bitsy little sandwich... you won't tell will you?

Ingredients

slices Sourdough wheat bread

1 - 2 tablespoons butter for toasting the bread

1 tablespoon pesto sauce

1 tablespoon mayo

2 balls Burrata

¼ cup grape tomatoes, sliced in half and tossed with salt, then drained

¼ cup arugula

3 - 4 slices of prosciutto, made into roses (i dont actually recommend) or torn into pieces

Salt

Pepper

Directions

Step 1

Toast your bread and butter.

Step 2

Top one piece with pesto, the other with mayo.

Step 3

Top the pesto side with the burrata and tomato mixture, the other with arugula and prosciutto.

Step 4

Season both sides with salt and pepper.

Step 5

Close up the sandwich and cut in half carefully. Enjoy!
