Steak sauce:

For the Seitan:

Mix the seitan ingredients together until dough forms.

Knead dough for 5-7 minutes. Let rest in bowl for 30 minutes.

Form the dough into a log and wrap in parchment paper and aluminum foil.

Steam for 50-60 Minutes in a pot with a steamer insert.

Let cool completely.

Using a mandoline or knife cut the seitan into really thin slices then cut those slices into small ribbons.

For the Marinade:

Mix the marinade ingredients together.

Pour the marinade over the seitan and let marinate for atleast 30 minutes.

Cook the onion and bell peppers on med- medium high heat for 5-7 minutes until slightly charred and soft. Season with salt, black pepper and vegan Worcestershire to taste. Set aside.

Cook the seitan in oil on medium- medium high heat in an even layer undisturbed for 5 minutes on each side. 2-3 minutes before it's done pour in some vegan Worcestershire to taste to add extra flavor.

Add the onions and peppers back in. Top of with some vegan provolone cheese and cover until it melts.

Assemble on a vegan hoagie roll or French bread with vegan provolone cheese.

Add all of the Steak sauce ingredients into a small bowl and mix until fully combined.

Drizzle as much sauce as you like over your sandwich and enjoy!
