1 shot (1 2 ounces) of espresso or strong brewed coffee

1 cup steamed milk (whole milk, almond milk, or any preferred milk)

2 tablespoons chocolate syrup (see recipe for Chocolate Syrup)

ΒΌ teaspoon peppermint extract

Crushed candy canes or whipped cream (for garnish)
Directions

Brew a shot of espresso using an espresso machine or prepare a strong cup of coffee using your preferred method.

Froth or steam the milk using a milk frother, steam wand, or by heating it on the stove until it's hot and frothy.

In a large mug, add the brewed espresso or strong coffee.

Stir in the chocolate syrup (as per your homemade recipe) into the coffee until well combined.
