Ingredients

1 cup brown sugar (light or dark)

1 cup water

1 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1
Add sugar and water to a pot on medium high heat.

Stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves and a syrup has formed.

Let simmer on low one to two minutes to make sure all of the sugar has been dissolves and the syrup has thickened. Stir in

Remove from heat and stir in your vanilla.

Let cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
