Ingredients

2 cans sliced peaches, in syrup

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 tsp cinnamon

⅛ tsp nutmeg

½ cup brown sugar

1 box butter golden cake mix

2 sticks unsalted butter butter, thinly sliced

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.

Step 2

2. Pour both cans of sliced peaches, including the syrup, into the prepared baking dish. Spread the peaches out evenly.

Step 3

3. If you like a touch of cinnamon and extra sweetness, sprinkle the ground cinnamon, brown sugar, nutmeg & vanilla extract over the peaches and mix until combined.

Step 4

4. Evenly spread the dry cake mix over the peaches. Do not stir; simply let the cake mix sit on top.

Step 5

5. Add your thinly sliced butter on top. Try to cover as much of the surface as possible to ensure a golden, buttery crust. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top!

Step 6

6. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbling at the edges.

Step 7

7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. For an extra treat, serve warm with a scoop of ice cream & drizzled with caramel syrup! & Enjoy
