Ingredients
½ cup butter, melted
¾ cup light brown sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
1 - 2 tsp red food coloring
1 tsp white vinegar
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
1 ½ cup all purpose flour
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
¼ cup Oreo, crumbs
5 Oreos, roughly chopped
½ cup white chocolate chips
Directions
Step 1
Measure out your Oreo crumbs, by placing them in a food processor or blender until crumbs form. (3-4 Oreos) Roughly chop the remaining 5 Oreo cookies and set aside.
Step 2
In a large bowl mix butter and sugars until combined. Add in the egg, food coloring (start with just 1 teaspoon and add more as needed) vanilla extract, vinegar and mix until just combined.
Step 3
Mix in the dry ingredients until a dough forms. Add in the Oreo crumbs, crushed Oreos, & white chocolate chips and mix until just combined.
Step 4
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the mixture for 1 -2 hours, or until the dough is nearly firm.
Step 5
When ready to bake Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 6
Use a medium cookie scoop or spoon to make 2 tablespoon sized balls and place them on the baking sheet around 3-4 inches apart. Stick a few more pieces of Oreos on top if desired.
Step 7
Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes. Remove them from the oven.
Step 8
Leave the cookies on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, & then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
