About Me

My name is Elisa Karina, I am from a Guatemalan mother & a Filipino father. With roots from Sardegna Italy & Spain. Complete mutt! But I love it! I get to enjoy all of my delicious cultural traditions from food to festivities !! Life in the beginning was a bit rough for me but got through it. Getting married to a full blown Guatemalan was life changing. Plus I moved in with the in laws sooo yeaa, it was challenging. When we got our act together & convinced my husband there was more to Guatemalan cuisine We began our journey traveling!!!! We started domestically to good old New Orleans then soon after ventured out to Europe! And that's where we are now.... so join me with recipes I try to recreate to relive our memories.
