3 tsp lemon juice (bottled is fine)
1 tsp medium onion, diced
5 cloves diced garlic (bottled is fine or 2tsp garlic powder)
1 ½ cup Dairy-free heavy cream or full fat coconut milk
1 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
Chili flakes
Black pepper
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tbsp All Purpose flour

Step 1
Boil pasta until 1 minute before Al dente. Grab pasta water for later.

Defrost your frozen shrimp under cold water and pat dry. In a bowl, mix dried shrimp with 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning, 1 tsp lemon juice, and 1 tsp olive oil.

Cook shrimp 1-2 mins on each side over medium heat, remove.

In the same pan, fry some diced onions and garlic until soft and translucent.

Add 1 tbsp of flour and mix in with ingredients, cook for 1 minute.

Pour in your dairy-free heavy cream or full fat coconut milk, chicken broth, 1-2 tbsp of Cajun seasoning, nutritional yeast, black pepper, 2tsp lemon juice, chili flakes, and dried parsley.

Let the sauce cook on low to medium heat until bubbling, mix continuously. Add pasta water to adjust consistency and add the shrimp and pasta in. Mix and enjoy!
