It doesn’t get much simpler than this! A cherry tomato sauce that is sweet and silky (is that even appetizing lmao??) and packs a lot more flavor than you’d think.

Ingredients

1 ½ cup Cherry tomatoes, halved

4 cloves of garlic, crushed/diced

1 tbsp Dried basil,

Salt & pepper

Extra virgin olive oil

Fresh basil (go crazy)

3 oz (half can) Tomato paste

1 box of Angel hair or thin spaghetti

1 ½ tsp Optional: sugar

Directions

Step 1

Set your oven to 425F

Step 2

Mix the garlic, as much dried basil, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper (+ optional sugar) with the halved tomatoes

Extra virgin olive oil

1 ½ cup Cherry tomatoes, halved

Salt & pepper

4 cloves of garlic, crushed/diced

1 ½ tsp Optional: sugar

Step 3

spread out on lined baking sheet

Bake for 15-18 minutes until slightly charred

While that’s going, boil and salt a pot of water, add your pasta

1 box of Angel hair or thin spaghetti

Step 6

boil according to box, take pasta out one minute before al dente. Save at least half a cup of pasta water!

Fry some tomato paste in olive oil until the color runs into the oil, add the cherry tomatoes in and mix

3 oz (half can) Tomato paste

1 ½ cup Cherry tomatoes, halved

Step 8

Add in the pasta and some pasta water, mix well until sauce coats everything.

1 box of Angel hair or thin spaghetti

Top with some extra olive oil to make it glossy

chiffonade some basil, throw it on top!
