Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix

3 eggs (room temp)

Water & oil (as per cake mix instructions)

1 can evaporated milk

1 can condensed milk

½ cup regular milk

½ Abuelita chocolate

½ of a 16 oz whipping cream

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp sugar

3 - 4 strawberries (sliced for decoration)

Directions

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

Step 2

2. Mix yellow cake with eggs, water, and oil. I use a single 9x3” pan for a moist cake.

Step 3

3. Pour into a buttered cake pan (use parchment paper on the bottom if you have it).

Step 4

4. Bake according to your pan instructions (mine takes 40-45 minutes).

Step 5

5. While baking, blend evaporated milk, regular milk, condensed milk, and Abuelita chocolate.

Step 6

6. Once the cake is done, let it cool.

Step 7

7. Make whipped cream by whisking sugar, vanilla, and whipping cream until soft peaks form.

Step 8

8. Poke the cake with a skewer and pour the milk mixture into the pan.

Step 9

9. Let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes before flipping onto a cake dish.

Step 10

10. Top with whipped cream and fresh strawberries! 🍓
