Ingredients
400 gram Vegan meat
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp tomato paste
½ tsp chilli flakes
400 gram canned tomatoes
Salt to taste
pepper to taste
1 cup basil fresh
1 tbsp ketchup
½ cup vegan red wine

Step 1
If you are using dehydrated protein based meat cover with water and refrigerate 30 minutes before using . You can use regular ones that have already been hydrated also . This works with any vegan or plant based meat

Heat a little olive oil in the pan then fry a diced onion for 2minutes before adding 2 cloves of chopped garlic and 1-2 tsp chilli flakes

Add tomato paste fry a minute then add the meat 1/2 cup of vegan red wine (optional) cook off 2mijutes then add canned tomatoes a little splash of water salt and pepper to taste ketchup and chopped basil . Simmer 15 minutes then serve with your favorite pasta
