Ingredients

400 gram firm tofu

1 tsp garlic powder

1 pinch salt

1 pinch black pepper

1 tsp paprika

¾ cup cornstarch

3 tbsp hot sauce

3 tbsp sweet chilli sauce

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp sesame oil

1 ½ tsp miso

2 scallions

2 tbsp sesame seeds
Directions
Step 1
Place the tofu in a bowl on paper towels then place paper towels on top with a plate and use a frying pan or some cans to weigh the tofu down and squeeze out the excess liquid . You can push down yourself for about 20 minutes or you can just leave it for an hour or two

Slice the tofu into strips then into cubes and in a bowl add cornstarch salt pepper garlic powder paprika mix it and coat the tofu

Fry the tofu in some oil until golden brown on both sides then set aside
Step 4
In a bowl mix hot sauce ( I use korean hot sauce but use your favorite kind ) sweet chilli sauce soy sauce miso paste ( again i used dark miso but any miso will work) and sesame oil then cook in the pan until bubbling and add the tofu . Cook the tofu until the sauce is sticky and thick then serve with sliced scallions and sesame seeds
