Ingredients

250 ml milk

40 gram sugar

2 tsp dry yeast

1 egg

410 flour

1 tsp salt

50 g butter

Directions
Step 1
In the bowl Of your stand mixer pour in warm milk ( not hot just warm) sugar egg and yeast and stir with a spatula to combine

Pour in the flour and salt and turn the mixer on low until everything is mixed in then mix 10 minutes on medium speed

410 flour

Add in 50 grams of butter 1 tsp at a time ( qty about 5 teaspoons) then turn the mixer up to high speed and mix 15 Minutes

Grease a large bowl And put the dough in a large ball shape in the bowl cover and let rise 2 hours in a warm place . When the dough has risen punch it down then divide it into 12 pieces . Roll the 12 into balls then place them close together on a deep baking dish cover with a towel and let rise another 30 minutes
Step 5
Preheat oven to 180 c then beat and egg with two tbsp of milk and brush this all Over the top of the bread . Bake the bread for 22 minutes or until Golden . I like to finish mine by brushing with some Melted salted butter
