Ingredients

⅔ cup milk

⅔ cup water

2 tsp salt

2 tsp vegetable oil

7 gram yeast

1 ½ tsp sugar

700 gram flour

1 yellow onion

500 gram ground beef

2 garlic

1 tsp salt

1 tbs tomato paste

1 tsp worcestershire sauce

⅓ cup beef broth

½ tsp black pepper

100 gram dill

2 green onions

200 gram cheddar cheese

1 eggs

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl mix warm milk warm water salt and vegetable oil

2 tsp salt

2 tsp vegetable oil

Step 2

Sprinkle over yeast and then sugar and let sit 5 to 10 minutes.

7 gram yeast

1 ½ tsp sugar

Step 3

Stir flour into yeast mixture and form dough then knead for 5 minutes .

700 gram flour

Step 4

Grease the inside of the crockpot and put the dough inside then cover with a plate and set on yogurt setting for 45 minutes or until dough doubles in size .

Fry a diced onion in a little oil for 3 minutes then add 2 cloves chopped garlic and fry another minute .

Add beef and brown then add tomato paste Worcestershire sauce 1/3 cup beef broth salt and pepper and simmer 6minutes .

Stir in green onions and dill

Turn out the dough onto a lightly floured surface and divide into 20 large balls then roll each into a circle .

Step 9

place 1 heaped tbsp of the meat mixture and 1 tsp of cheese on each one then pinch in the middle out to the outer corners to seal the dough

Step 10

Whisk egg with 1tbsp water then brush the top of each pirozhki and bake 375 Fahrenheit for 25 minutes or until brown .
