Ingredients

1 cup oats

1 cup water

1 egg

1 tbsp sugar

5 g dry yeast

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

In a bowl add oats and water then stir together and let it sit and soak for 5 minutes .

Add egg sugar and yeast then stir together and add the flour salt and olive oil. Mix well bring it to a dough form and knead 5 minutes . Shape into a ball and place in a large bowl covered with a damp tea towel for 1 and a half hours

Divide the dough Into 12 sections ( this recipe makes 12 small buns but double it to make large buns if you want larger ) roll into balls then place on a tray and cover with plastic wrap for 40 minutes . Once risen beat an egg with a. Little water then brush the tops with the egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds on top bake at 175 c fan oven for 15 minutes or 18 minutes if making the larger buns . I like to Brush with melted butter and then serve
