Ingredients

1 kg cherries

1 tsp cornstarch

¼ tsp almond extract

¼ cup sugar

1 cup flour

¼ cup light brown sugar

¼ cup sugar

½ cup oats

½ cup pecan nuts

pinch Pinch salt

125 g butter

Directions

Step 1

Wash the cherries remove the pits then pat dry and add cornstarch sugar and almond extract . Toss them to coat then put into a baking dish

In a bowl add flour oats brown sugar white sugar chopped pecan nuts a pinch of salt and the butter cut into small pieces then pinch together with fingers and cover the top of the cherries .bake 375 c for about 30 minutes or until golden brown and crunchy on top
