Ingredients

140 gram flour

1 tsp salt

90 mL milk

10 gram butter

3 potato

1 pinch salt

1 pinch black pepper

1 pinch nutmeg

2 tbsp mayonnaise

300 gram cheddar cheese

100 gram bacon

3 scallions

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl add the flour salt milk and butter then pinch together with your fingers and slowly form a dough ball

Step 2

Knead the dough for 2 minutes then cover and put in the fridge for 1 hour

Step 3

Peel 3 medium potatoes then steam or boil until they are fork tender

Mash the potatoes and add salt pepper nutmeg and mayonnaise

Step 5

Roll out the dough into a large flat circle then place half of the cheese in the middle followed by the potatoes on top

top the mashed potatoes with bacon cut into little pieces thinly sliced scallions and the rest of the cheese then fold the dough over from each side and pinch in the middle to seal the dough

Flip the stuffed dough over then use a rolling pin to roll out and flatten

Step 8

In lightly oiled pan place the bread then cover with a lid and cook on medium low heat for 10 mins approx or until the bottom is golden

Step 9

Flip the bread around and cover with the lid and cook approx 8-10 minutes
