Ingredients

500 gram ground beef

500 gram ground pork

1 onion

7 clove garlic

4 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp mirin

1 tsp hoisin sauce

¼ cup brown sugar

½ tsp chilli flakes

¼ tsp black pepper

¼ tsp salt

3 scallions

2 tbsp sesame seeds

½ tsp sesame oil

Directions

Step 1

To a large bowl add the ground beef and pork then add a large diced onion and 7 cloves chopped garlic

To the meat add Soy sauce, mirin ,Hoisin sauce , salt , pepper , sugar ,Black pepper , chilli flakes and mix all together until combined

¼ tsp black pepper

½ tsp chilli flakes

1 tsp hoisin sauce

Step 3

Chop 3 scallions and set aside .

Heat a wok and add a little neutral flavour oil once hot then fry the meat breaking it up and letting it brown slightly. keep cooking until most of the liquid is gone .

Step 6

Add the scallions to the meat and cook a further minute then drizzle the sesame oil and sesame seeds on top . Serve with your favourite rice or noodles
