Ingredients

12 chicken wing

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp black pepper

to taste salt and pepper

24 oz canned tomato sauce

⅔ cup apple cider vinegar

⅔ cup water

⅔ cup brown sugar

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp onion powder

1 tbsp hot paprika

1 tbsp chili powder

2 tsp salt

1 tsp mustard powder

1 tsp black pepper

½ tsp ground ginger

½ tsp cayenne pepper

1 tbsp worcestershire sauce

3 tbsp honey

1 Thai chili peppers

Directions

Step 1

Marinate chicken wings with garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and more salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2

Bake wings for 20 minutes at 400 degrees (F).

Step 3

Make bbq sauce: in a medium saucepan, combine tomato sauce, apple cider vinegar, water, garlic powder, onion powder, hot paprika, chili powder, salt, mustard powder, black pepper, ground ginger, and cayenne pepper.

Step 4

To this mixture, also add worcestershire sauce, honey, and thai chili pepper.

Step 5

Give sauce mixture a stir, and turn on to medium heat. Bring to a boil, then take off heat and bring to a simmer on medium low. Stir occasionally (30-45 mins) and reduce it to half.

Step 6

Toss wings in sauce.

Step 7

Finish off by smoking wings with Cucina Pro smoker.
