Ingredients

¼ yellow onion

¼ red onion

2 cloves garlic

1 jalapeño

½ Lightlife Gimme Lean Sausage

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp turmeric

½ tsp cumin

½ tsp oregano

Salt and pepper

4 large tomatoes

2 tsp tomato paste

1 tbsp olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Start by cooking down some red and yellow onion with oil.

Next add in chopped jalapeño and minced garlic.

Step 3

Add your lightlife sausage to the pan and season with paprika, garlic powder, turmeric, cumin, oregano, salt and pepper

Step 4

Add some tomatoes (cubed) and tomato paste. Mix everything together, cover and let simmer for 6-8 mins until the tomatoes are soft and you can squish them down.

Step 5

Slice your baguette, toast them and then add your shakshuka mixture on top. Top with feta, fresh basil and enjoy!
