Ingredients

2 ½ lb chicken wings

2 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp cayenne pepper

¼ tsp black pepper

½ tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp baking powder

½ lime juice

2 Habanero peppers

½ stalk green onion

8 mango chunks

5 tbsp brown sugar

⅓ cup white vinegar

½ lime, juiced

1 cloves garlic

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp salt

2 tbsp avocado oil

½ tsp tomato paste

2 tsp soy sauce

1 cup water

3 tsp arrowroot starch

Directions

Step 1

Season chicken wings with the ingredients below then place in the Air Fryer at 360 for 25-30 mins (shake every 10 mins) & 400 for the final 5-10 mins. For extra crispy wings, air-fry in two batches.

For the oven: bake at 405 degrees for 1 hour & 15 mins flipping every 15 mins.

Step 3

For mango habanero sauce, blend the ingredients until smooth. Use 2 habanero peppers instead of 4 if you like it less spicy.

Step 4

Add the blended mixture to a cold mixture of water and arrow root starch (cornstarch can be subbed).

Step 5

Whisk together and bring up to a boil, reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 8-10 mins until sauce has reduced and thickened to your liking.

Step 6

Pour only 1/2 cup of the mango habanero sauce over the wings (reserve the rest of the sauce for dipping or use as an all purpose sauce on your meals throughout the week). Toss wings in the sauce and enjoy!
