Ingredients
½ tsp Chinese 5 spice
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt & pepper
½ tbsp baking powder
2 tsp soy sauce
¾ tsp sesame oil
4 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp soy sauce
2 tbsp rice vinegar
½ lime juice
1 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tsp arrowroot starch
¼ cup water

Directions
Step 1
Season the drumsticks with the ingredients below. Rub it all in and let that marinade for a few hours.

Step 2
Transfer to a baking tray with a wire rack. Cook at 420F for 50 mins - 1 hr.

Meanwhile make the sauce by combining the ingredients below.
4 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp soy sauce
2 tbsp rice vinegar
½ lime juice
1 tsp red pepper flakes
¼ tsp sesame oil
2 tsp arrowroot starch
¼ cup water
Step 4
Add the sauce to a saucepan, bring to a boil and then reduce heat and let simmer until it becomes thicker.

Brush the glaze over the cooked chicken and then put it back in the oven for another 10 mins.
Step 6
I plated my chicken with a bed of jasmine rice, sliced cucumbers and steamed broccoli. Top with sesame seeds and enjoy!
