Begin by preparing the chickpeas.

Next, prepare the beef.
Step 3
While the beef cooks, prepare the white sauce.
Step 4
Layer it together in a bowl, starting with crispy bread, chickpeas, white sauce and then meat.
Step 5
Garnish with parsley, pomegranate seeds, toasted pine nuts and chili powder.

Boil your chickpeas in water for 15 mins.

Add cumin, garlic and salt. Set aside.
