2 lb minced chicken thigh
1 yellow onion
1 small beet
4 cloves garlic
1 egg
2 tbsp parsley
1 jalapeño
1 tsp garlic powder

½ cup breadcrumbs

Step 1
Start by grating your onion and beet (squeeze out as much juice as you can and discard it.)

Finely chop your jalapeño, garlic and parsley, adding them in along with the egg, minced chicken thigh, garlic powder, salt, pepper and breadcrumbs.

Mix together entirely, cover with plastic wrap and let sit in the fridge for 30 min – 1 hr.

Wet your hands, then roll the meat into a ball before wrapping it around the metal skewer as seen in the video.
