Having a meat slicer makes so many things convenient in my kitchen. Also, it helps me to save money when I buy meats in bulk and slice them myself. 

Ham Al Pastor Sandwich

Add all the ingredients in a pot to make the marinade and add enough water to cover; cook for 15 minutes and blend well.

Slice the ham about half a centimeter in thickness. 

In a bowl add the marinade to the ham and let it marinate for 15 minutes.

Place it in a greased sheet pan with cooking oil and broil until slightly burned on the ends. 

To make the dressing, add all the ingredients to a pot but the cornstarch and water, and put it on high until it starts boiling and let it reduce for 5 minutes. Blend well, mix the cornstarch with the cold water, and add it to the pot while stirring on low heat until it thickens; add it to a squishy bottle. 

Slice in half the French bread loaf and add the chihuahua cheese on top of both slices and ham in one of the slices over the cheese, broil until cheese melts.
