A good salsa must have spicy peppers, any tomato for acidity, and garlic and onion for flavor, seasoned with salt and maybe, black pepper if you like. Avocado and cilantro would be extra for more flavor or consistency, as well as any other ingredients. Tatemada means charred, and molcajeteada means it was crushed in the molcajete, so to make a salsa molcajeteada you can roast, broil, steam, or fry your peppers and vegetables as long as it's crushed in the molcajete, and to make a salsa tatemada can even be blended as long as the peppers and vegetables are charred. Grilled Salsa Verde Molcajeteada

grill the peppers, tomatillos, and onion until charred.

Put them then in a container with a lid or in a zip bag to make them sweet and maybe more tender if they need to.

Then crush the garlic in the molcajete with the salt, and add the peppers and onions; you can cut them in pieces if you want to crush them easier; then add the tomatillos and crush.

cut the avocado in a half and peel it off, dice it up and add into the salsa and mix.
