Upgrade your breakfast game with this one-of-a-kind Hong Kong French Toast (HKFT). If you follow me on the 'gram, you're well aware of my infatuation with HKFT. This rendition takes a stack of bread slathered with sweetened condensed milk that is dunked in a star anise-Thai tea (hence the orange color) egg batter & fried until crisp. It’s then dusted with a cardamom-sugar, brûléed, drizzled with sweetened condensed milk & topped with powdered sugar. Sinfully good y’all, sinfully good. If you would like to order the special tools needed for the recipe, I've included them below –– torch: https://amzn.to/3LWket5 (https://amzn.to/3LWket5)
