Garlicky, Everything but the Bagel Wings

If you love flavor-packed wings with lots of crunch, look no further than these garlicky, everything but the bagel wings. If you’re unfamiliar with everything but the bagel seasoning, it’s a blend of sesame seeds (white & black), poppy seeds, dried garlic, dried onion & salt. It’s full of texture––lots of satisfying crunch, & flavor. To add extra oomph, a generous helping of garlic powder is added to the seasoning blend. But wait, there’s even more garlic. The wings are paired with a 5-ingredient garlic aioli. Too much garlic? Nah, there’s no such thing.

Ingredients

for the wings

2 lb chicken wings

5 tbsp butter, melted

4 tbsp everything but the bagel seasoning

2 tbsp avocado oil

2 tbsp baking powder

1 tbsp onion powder

1 ½ tbsp garlic powder

½ tsp pepper

for the garlic aioli

1 c mayonnaise

1 ½ tbsp lemon

1 ½ tbsp minced garlic

½ tsp pepper

½ tsp salt

Directions

Step 1

In a bowl, combine baking powder, onion powder, garlic powder & pepper. Set aside. Pat wings completely dry, add to a bowl & drizzle with avocado oil. Toss. Sprinkle with seasoning mix. Toss again.

1 ½ tbsp garlic powder

½ tsp pepper

2 tbsp avocado oil

Step 2

Place wings in air fryer at 205°C for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through–you want them extra crispy. While chicken is frying, mix the everything but the bagel seasoning with butter.

Step 3

Remove wings from air fryer & place in a bowl. Drizzle with everything but the bagel butter. Pat into wings. Place back in air fryer at 205°C for 3 minutes. Serve wings hot alongside garlic aioli for dipping.

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
