Harissa Honey Chicken Bowls

Add chicken to a large bowl and add all of the listed ingredients. Mix until thoroughly combined.

Transfer to a Ziploc bag and refrigerate overnight.

Remove from the fridge and bring the chicken to room temperature. Heat a large grill pan or cast iron to med-high heat.

Drizzle with olive oil then sear chicken until charred. 5-8 minutes.

Once all the chicken is cooked, add to a lined sheet pan and bake for 10-13 minutes. Broil for 3-5 if you want charred bits.

Once the chicken cools, cut into cubes and add to a bowl. Set aside.

Now add the finished harissa honey sauce all over the cubed chicken, mix and set aside.

Assemble the bowls with your favorite toppings then serve and enjoy.

I topped my bowl with, pickled onions, roasted corn, feta, roasted garlic hummus, a cucumber-tomato salad and tzatziki sauce!

Heat a small sauce pan to medium heat. Add the harissa and honey then stir until well combined. 

Once sauce is warmed, remove from heat and pour all over the cooked and cubed chicken.
