A delicious and easy-to-make stuffed sausage recipe with ground beef, mushrooms, onions, and cheese.

I used chicken sausage in the video, which I don't recommend. A brat or good Italian sausage work much better!

Stuffed Sausage with Ground Beef

Brown the ground beef in a pan and set aside.

In the same pan, sauté the onions. Once softened, add the mushrooms.

Add salt, thyme, and black pepper to the onion and mushroom mixture. Stir until combined and mushrooms have released their liquid. Remove from pan and place into a large bowl.

Add the ground beef to the onions and mushrooms. Mix in the cream cheese, 1 cup of shredded cheese, and spinach.

Slice the sausages open down the middle and stuff with a generous portion of the ground beef mixture.

Place into the oven at 350°F for 20-25 minutes, or until the sausage reaches a temperature of 165°F.
