A slight twist on one of my families all time favorites—chicken stroganoff! It's hard to be the creamy delicious flavors of stroganoff!

Pan-Fried Chicken Stroganoff

Add olive oil to pan, cooking chicken 6-7 minutes on each side, until fully done. Remove from pan & set aside.

Begin cooking pasta on a separate burner according to packaged directions.

Melt the butter over medium heat. Add in mushrooms & onions. Cook until all liquid has been released. Add in garlic, cooking for an additional minute.

Add in flour, stirring until evenly combined.

Pour in half of the broth, mixing evenly after each until fully added.

Add thyme, salt, pepper...stir. Add in Worcestershire, mustard, & sour cream. Stir until you have a perfectly creamy consistency. Bring to a simmer until sauce thickens.

Add in chicken and noodles. Stir until everything is coated and heated through.

box noodles of choice (bow tie or egg noodles work well)

chicken breast or thighs or sirloin steak if you want to stick with the classic 'beef stroganoff'
