Ingredients
2 lbs steelhead trout (salmon works too)
⅓ cup olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
½ tsp dried thyme
½ tsp oregano
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp cayenne
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
2 whole lemons
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°.
Step 2
Slice 1 lemon into 6-8 slices and another in half (for squirting on top of trout).
Step 3
Mince the garlic cloves.
Step 4
Mix the olive oil and spices together.
Step 5
On a cookie sheet, pour the oil and spice mixture over the trout filets and rub it in thoroughly.
Step 6
Place the fish into the oven for roughly 30 minutes. Broil them for the last 3-4 minutes to give the edges a nice crunch.
Step 7
Plate up and enjoy!
