Ingredients

Chocolate Chip Cookie

¼ cup butter, melted

2 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp brown sugar

½ tsp vanilla extract

⅔ cup flour

¼ tsp baking soda

¼ tsp salt

¼ cup semisweet chocolate chips

Pie Crust

1 cup flour

¼ tsp salt

2 tbsp chilled and grated butter

¼ cup softened butter

3 tbsp ice cold water

Directions

Chocolate Chip Cookie

Step 1

Whisk your dry ingredients together.

Step 2

Whisk in your vanilla and melted butter until fully combined and sugar is dissolved.

Step 3

Separate the cookie dough into two equal portions.

Step 4

Make your pie crust by mixing together your flour, salt, and both butters. Once you have a crumbly dough, add in your ice water a little at a time just until you have a uniform dough mixture. Separate into two portions. And then each of those portions into two pieces (one for the bottom crust, and one for the top crust).

Step 5

On a lightly floured surface, roll out your crust. Place into a lightly oiled ramekin and fill with half your cookie dough. Roll out the other portion of dough for the top of the pie. Cut a few slits for it to breathe and spread with a little melted butter.

Step 6

Repeat and then place both into a preheated oven at 375°F.

Step 7

Remove from the oven once it’s golden brown and allow it to cool. Eat with a spoon and enjoy!
