This recipe combines crispy fried chicken breasts with fluffy waffles, topped with a spicy maple butter sauce. It's a delicious and satisfying meal that can be enjoyed for breakfast or dinner.

Chicken + Waffle Sandwich with Spicy Maple Butter Sauce

Mix buttermilk ingredients together in a large bowl.

Pound chicken breasts thin, slice in half, and then place into buttermilk. Mix to combine. Place in fridge.

Mix all your flour crust ingredients together. Set aside.

Mix all your waffle ingredients together. Add milk to reach desired consistency.

Begin making your waffles. I love my little @bydash waffle maker!

Remove chicken from fridge. Remove chicken from buttermilk one at a time and coat with flour. Place onto a plate and repeat until done.

Heat oil in a pan and begin frying chicken in batches. Place onto paper towel to cool.

Lay down a waffle, top with chicken. Drizzle with maple sauce and top with remaining waffle. Enjoy!
