Ingredients
1 lb @goodranchers bacon
1 lb @goodranchers ground beef
1 large sweet onion
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp maple syrup
½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
3 slices cheddar cheese

Directions
Step 1
Slice your bacon into small chunks. Dice your onion and heat a large pan over medium heat.
Step 2
Add a tbsp olive oil to a pan and then add in your onions. Cook until softened. Add your balsamic vinegar. Stir and continue cooking. Then add in your diced bacon.
Step 3
Once onions are fully softened, add in the brown sugar, maple syrup and pepper flakes. Stir to combine. Cook for another few minutes and remove from heat.
Step 4
Loosely form your patty’s and cook to your desired doneness…which of course is medium 😜
Step 5
Butter your buns and toast them. I chose to put down some hot @melindasfoods hot sauce on the bottom bun, then the bacon jam, burger, cheese, more bacon jam, then ketchup and top bun.
