Ingredients

¾ cup unsalted butter, browned

1 . Simmer in a saucepan on medium heat.

2 . Melt until it starts to bubble up.

3 . Keep an eye on it and constantly whisk to make sure it DOES NOT BURN.

4 . Once it is browned take off heat and cool.

1 cup light brown sugar

¼ cup white granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 ½ cup all purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp kosher salt

Chocolate chips

Kosher salt or sea salt for top of cookie

2 bowls

Directions

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350F.

Step 2

2. Mix flour, baking soda, and kosher salt.

Step 3

3. Brown butter according the instructions above. Let cool.

Step 4

4. Cream browned butter, brown sugar, and white sugar.

Step 5

5. Add eggs and vanilla extract.

Step 6

6. Mix wet and dry ingredients..

Step 7

7. Add chocolate chips.

Step 8

8. Scoop onto a baking sheet.

Step 9

9. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

Step 10

10. Sprinkle a little more salt on top of cookies.
