Ingredients

¾ cups unsalted butter

1 ¼ cup light brown sugar

¼ cup white granulated sugar

⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 ½ tsp vanilla extract

2 large eggs

6 ½ tbsp all purpose flour

¼ tsp baking powder

A pinch of salt

Limited edition red velvet Oreos, crushed (10 11) save some for garnish before baking and break some to put on top

Directions
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
Step 2
2. In a bowl, add butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Melt in microwave safe bowl for 30 second intervals until melted.
Step 3
3. Once melted, add your vanilla extract and cocoa powder. This will enhance the cocoa (bloom it).

4. Add your eggs and mix.
Step 5
5. Now sift your flour, baking soda, and salt into the bowl. Or mix in a separate bowl and transfer.

6. Fold wet and dry ingredients together until combined.
Step 7
7. Now take your red velvet Oreos (10-12) and crush them in a ziplock bag.

8. Pour into brownies batter and fold in. Make sure to no mix too much.

9. Line a 8x8 square pan with parchment paper (spray some nonstick spray to help it stick).

10. Pour brownie batter into pan and spread evenly throughout.

11. Now break up some extra red velvet Oreos and place them on top. Take your leftover Oreo crumbs and sprinkle on top.

12. Bake on 350F for 25-27 minutes until a knife comes out mostly clean in the middle.

13. Take out of oven and cool completely. This will take about an hour.
