Ingredients

½ cup unsalted butter, browned

⅔ cups light brown sugar

¼ cup white granulated sugar

1 large egg, room temp.

1 ½ tsp vanilla extract

1 cup all purpose flour

¼ tsp baking soda

¼ tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking salt or regular salt

Add ins : chocolate chips of your choice, measure with your heart

1. Preheat oven to 350F.

2. Brown your butter in a saucepan on medium heat.

3. Be sure to whisk occasionally. DO NOT WALK AWAY.

4. It will start to bubble up and give a nutty aroma.

5. Once it looks a light brown color take off and let cool.

6. In a bowl, add your flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix and set aside.

7. In another bowl, add your cooled brown butter, white sugar, and brown sugar. Cream together for about a minutes until everything is fully combined.

8. Add your egg and vanilla extract. Mix.

9. Combine your wet and dry ingredients.

10. Add your chocolate chips and fold into cookie dough.

11. Cover cookie dough and place in fridge to cool for 30 minutes.

12. Once cooled, take out and start scooping your cookie dough balls.

13. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

14. Bake at 350F for 13-14 minutes.

15. Take out and let cool for 5-10 minutes or enjoy warm 🍪
