Rose dumplings

Make the dough babies: Mix and knead ingredients below for about 10 mins, add more flour if the dough is too sticky. Let rest for 20 mins after kneading. Make another one but add some pink coloring for the petals.

Mix the fillings in a bowl and refrigerate until ready to wrap

THINLY roll out 1/4 section of the colored and non-colored dough. It should ALMOST be translucent (but still opaque). It should be at least 10 inches in length

Cut 1/2 inch strips out of the colored dough and 1 1/2 inches of the non colored dough.

Assemble the strips in colored, non colored, and colored pattern and press together.

Cut 4-5 circles in the dough and lay them overlapping each other and lay a connected line of filling.

Fold in half and press the tops close, then roll one end to the other and pinch close.

1 ratio of flour and boiling water and a pinch of salt. Essentially , ~2.5 cups of flour to 1 cup of boiling water and a pinch of salt. Mix and knead for about 10 mins, add more flour if the dough is too sticky. Let rest for 20 mins after kneading. Make another one but add some pink coloring for the petals.
