It takes only 6 ingredients. YES. SIX. And it’s the staple sauce in Vietnamese cuisine.

Mince garlic and thinly chop peppers. Set aside.

Mix sugar, water, and fish sauce until sugar dissolves, cool to room temperature.

Once cooled, add lime juice, garlic and peppers (wait till the solution cools or else your garlic will turn green!)

Chill and store in refrigerator, serve over literally anything. It’s that good
