Ingredients

2 cup peanuts

2 tbsp oil

25 Chiles de arbol

8 cloves garlic

½ white onion

6 tomatillos

1 tbsp salt

1 cup water, possibly more

Directions

Step 1

To a skillet on medium head, add the oil, once hot, add in the peanuts & toast for 2-3 minutes.

Then add the Chiles de arbol, garlic, onion & cook for another 5-7 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.

Step 3

Add the tomatillos to the skillet & cooked for 5-7 minutes, letting them get nicely charred. Remove from pan.

Step 4

Add all ingredients to the blender along with the salt & water. Blend until you get your desired consistency. You made need to use more than 1 cup of water
