Ingredients
1 jar cactus/nopales
4 roma tomatoes
2 jalapeño
½ red onion
1 bunch cilantro
1 tbs salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp lime pepper
½ tsp oregano
2 lime (juice)
2 tbs olive oil

Directions
Step 1
Drain & rinse the nopales until the water isn’t slimy anymore.

Step 2
Chop all the veggies, tomatoes, jalapeños, red onion & cilantro. Add to a large mixing bowl.

Add in the drained nopales. Add the seasonings, lime juice & olive oil. Mix together.

If you plan to serve it all right away, top the whole thing with queso fresco, otherwise, only top the portions you plan on eating with the cheese.

Serve with tostadas, as a topping for tacos, side dish for any proteins, it’s absolutely delicious!
