Ingredients

2 lb chicken wings

2 tbsp baking powder

3 tbsp Citrus Chile Rub

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp paprika

2 tsp salt

2 tsp black pepper

4 tbsp butter

¼ cup honey(use hot honey for a slightly spicier sauce)

1 lime, juiced

1 lemon, juiced

1 orange, juiced

Directions

Step 1

To a large bowl, add the wings, make sure to pat them dry with paper towels.

Step 2

To the chicken wings, add the baking powder, 2 tbsp of the citrus Chile rub, the paprika, garlic powder, salt & pepper. Mix to combine.

Step 3

Spray the bottom of your air fryer basket with oil, place the wings in a single layer, then spray again with oil.

Step 4

Air fry the wings at 300 degrees for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, flip the wings over, raise air fryer temp to 400 degrees and cook for 10-15 minutes more.

Step 5

While the wings are cooking, add the butter to a skillet, once melted, add in the lime, lemon and orange juice, honey and the 1 tbsp citrus Chile rub, cook on a medium low heat until thickened, about 5-7 minutes.

Once the wings are ready, toss them in the sauce and enjoy 😋
