skillet

Directions

Step 1

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the sliced onions and jalapeños. Season with all purpose and 1tbsp soy sauce. Sauté for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until caramelized and golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Step 3

In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Step 4

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, all purpose, ranch seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Divide the mixture into 4 portions and form a ball. (Smash patties once in skillet with a burger press or spatula)

Step 5

Cook the patties in the skillet over medium-high heat, about 3-4 minutes per side, until they reach your desired doneness. Remove and set aside.

Step 6

Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.

Step 7

• Mix the mayonnaise and ketchup, then spread it on the unbuttered side of a bread slice. Add ranch to the other bread slice.

Step 8

• On the unbuttered side of 2 bread slices, layer 1 slice of Pepperjack cheese, a cooked burger patty, caramelized onions, jalapeños, 2 slices of bacon, American cheese, and top with the other bread slice (buttered side facing out).

Step 9

• Cook each sandwich for 3-4 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula to ensure a golden, crispy crust. Flip carefully and cook the other side until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.

Step 10

• Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve hot with fries, chips, or a side salad
