Ingredients

500 g All purpose Flour

170 g Water

180 g Yogurt (or dairy free alternative)

20 g Fresh Yeast or 10g Dry Yeast (1 tbsp)

10 g Salt (2 tsp)

10 g Sugar (1 tbsp)

Butter or olive oil for brushing

Directions

Step 1

Prepare the Dough: Dissolve the yeast, sugar, and 2 tbsp of flour in some water. Let it sit until frothy.

Step 2

Add the yeast mixture, yogurt, salt, and flour into a large bowl. Mix and knead to form a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 1 hour.

Step 3

Shape and Cook: Divide the dough into 5-6 balls. Roll each ball into a disc.

Step 4

Preheat a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the dough on each side for 30 seconds or until brown spots appear.

Step 5

Finishing Touch: Remove from the heat and brush with butter or olive oil. Serve warm.
