Ingredients

2 tbsp olive oil

1 lb conecuh sausage, sliced

1 lb ground beef

½ yellow onion, diced

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp Cajun seasoning

½ tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp Italian seasoning

30 oz canned pinto beans, drained and rinsed

30 oz ranch style beans

10 oz original rotel

4 oz diced green chiles

8 oz tomato sauce

3 cups chicken broth

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

¼ cup brown sugar

For the toppings

Tortilla chips

Sour cream

Cheese

Directions

Step 1

In a large pot on medium heat, add in your olive oil and sauté your conecuh sausage. You can also use andouille or any sausage you prefer. After about 2 minutes, push the sausage to the side and add in your ground beef. Let this brown, drain grease if necessary and add in your diced onion.

Step 2

Add in your seasonings, beans, and remaining ingredients.

½ tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp Italian seasoning

30 oz canned pinto beans, drained and rinsed

30 oz ranch style beans

10 oz original rotel

4 oz diced green chiles

3 cups chicken broth

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

¼ cup brown sugar

Step 3

Bring to a boil, let this simmer on medium heat for about 15-20 minutes.

Step 4

Top with your choice of toppings and enjoy!
