Ingredients

1 lb 85/15 ground beef

Taco seasoning

3 large burrito tortillas

3 tostadas

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup thinly sliced lettuce

1 cup diced tomatoes

¼ cup mayo

2 tbsp chipotle sauce

1 tbsp mustard

2 tbsp smoked paprika

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your grill to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. This temperature will help to ensure that the ground beef cooks evenly and the tortilla gets crispy without burning.

Step 2

While the grill is heating up, let's make the chipotle mayo. In a bowl, whisk together the mayo, chipotle sauce, mustard, and smoked paprika. This will create a flavorful sauce that complements the other ingredients in the Crunchwrap. Once the sauce is well-mixed, place it in the refrigerator to chill until it's time to assemble the Crunchwraps.

Step 3

Now it's time to prepare the vegetables. Slice up the lettuce and tomatoes and set them aside. You can also prepare any other vegetables or toppings you'd like to add, such as sliced avocado, diced onion, or chopped cilantro.

Step 4

In another bowl, add the ground beef and taco seasoning. Make sure to mix the seasoning in thoroughly so that it is evenly distributed throughout the meat. You can use any type of taco seasoning you prefer, whether it's store-bought or homemade.

Step 5

Once the grill is ready, place the patties on the grates and grill for about two minutes per side. This will ensure that the meat is cooked through but still juicy and flavorful.

Step 6

Place a large skillet on the grill and add the patties to it. Use a spatula or wooden spoon to break up the ground beef into smaller pieces. This will allow it to cook more quickly and evenly. Cook the ground beef until it is crispy and well-browned, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

Step 7

While the ground beef is cooking, warm up the large burrito tortillas slightly. You can do this by placing them directly on the grill for a few seconds on each side or by microwaving them for a few seconds.

Step 8

Now it's time to assemble the Grilled Crunchwraps. Start by adding a layer of cheese on the tortilla, followed by the ground beef, chipotle mayo, tostada, lettuce, tomato, and another layer of cheese. Make sure to distribute the ingredients evenly across the tortilla and leave a bit of space around the edges to make it easier to fold.

Step 9

Pinch and fold the edges of the tortilla to create a hexagonal shape. Start by folding up the bottom edge of the tortilla, then fold in the sides one at a time. Finally, fold down the top edge of the tortilla to create a complete hexagon. Make sure the edges are well-sealed so that the filling doesn't fall out while grilling.

Step 10

Place the assembled Crunchwrap on the skillet and grill for about two minutes on each side or until nicely browned. Use a spatula to flip the Crunchwrap carefully and ensure that both sides are evenly cooked.

Step 11

Once done, remove the Grilled Crunchwrap from the grill and allow it to cool for a minute or two before serving. You can cut it in half or into smaller pieces for easier eating. Enjoy your delicious homemade Grilled Crunchwrap!
