Ingredients

2 lbs strip steak or sirloin steak (cut into 1/2 inch cubes)

Salt, to season

¼ cup soy sauce

4 tsp garlic paste

1 tsp dried parsley

2 tsp dried Italian seasoning

2 tbsp red wine vinegar

¼ cup Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp brown sugar

Directions

Step 1

Start by preparing the marinade. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, garlic paste, dried parsley, Italian seasoning, red wine vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. Make sure to mix well, so that all the ingredients are evenly combined.

Step 2

Next, prepare the beef. If using strip steak or sirloin steak, trim off any excess fat and cut the meat into 1/2-inch cubes. Season the beef with a little salt, to taste. Then, add the cubed beef to the marinade and toss until the meat is fully coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate the beef in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. You can also marinate the beef overnight for best results.

Step 3

While the beef is marinating, prepare your veggies. You can use a variety of vegetables, such as bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes. Cut the veggies into bite-sized pieces that will fit nicely onto your skewers.

Step 4

Once your beef has marinated, it's time to assemble the kabobs. Thread the marinated beef and veggies onto skewers, alternating between them. Make sure to leave a little space between each piece of meat and veggies to allow for even cooking.

Step 5

Preheat your grill to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Make sure the grill grates are clean and oiled, so that the kabobs won't stick.

Step 6

When the grill is hot, place the kabobs on the grates and sear them over high heat. You want to get a nice char on the outside of the meat and veggies. Turn the skewers occasionally to make sure everything cooks evenly.

Step 7

Once the kabobs are nicely charred, move them to a cooler part of the grill and continue cooking until the internal temperature of the beef reaches 125 degrees Fahrenheit. This should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on the thickness of your beef cubes.

Step 8

Serve your garlic and soy marinated beef kabobs with your favorite sides, such as rice or salad. Enjoy your delicious meal!
